A DJ, I am not. But, being a musician, I know and understand good music. Every season or so, I throw together a little "soundtrack" of the moment. Sometimes, the mixes just don't work...I'm either trying too hard to get a new mix out (hence the missing sequential mixes), or it just ain't happening.

Now playing:

But when it works, it works. This is the stuff I spin in my Element, call up on the old iPod, and generally that which colors my life. Here, you'll find Sara Groves next to Tower of Power! You'll see musicians you've never heard of! You'll scratch your head as you ponder the questionable order of tracks!

Or it may make perfect sense, and everybody's happy. But I'll keep it short here at the door, as the rambling continues inside.

I try to follow a few basic rules of thumb while creating and compiling these mixes:
1) Never use a song twice. (whoops)
2) Never reference the same artist twice in the same mix.

That said, pop in a quarter, click on one of the links in the column on the left to check out the Jukebox!
